From June 29 to July 6th, the NWRA hosted our annual summer campout at Curly Jack Campground in the Klamath National Forest. The camp is located on the banks of the Klamath River near Happy Camp, California. The blazing heat made getting splashed by the mighty Klamath a wonderful cooling-off experience! Club members from all over Southern Oregon brought rafts, catarafts, canoes, and inflatable kayaks to run the river and join in camaraderie. We enjoyed renewing old friendships and making new ones.
Thanks to Stephanie Ferrara for planning this unique 4th of July event!
